Easy Mediterranean Orange Pomegranate Salad Recipe

Here is an easy snack / salad recipe that is loved by adults and kids alike. It takes very little time and effort and can be ready in ten minutes. It does not require any stove or blender time.

Ingredients for making Mediterranean Orange Pomegranate Salad

  • 2 Oranges (Cut into Slices) 
  • Seeds from half a Pomegranate
  • Lemon Juice of half a Lemon
  • One Table Spoon of honey
  • 4-5 Mint Leaves
  • 8-10 Italian Basil Leaves
  • 1/4th of a Sliced Onion

Directions to Prepare Mediterranean Orange Pomegranate Salad

  1. Take a platter and arrange the sliced oranges as shown in the picture. You can also get creative and arrange them just the way you like, but please do take time to set them as the salad looks beautiful.
  2. Sprinkle some pomegranate seeds over the slices of Orange.
  3. Place the onion rings.
  4. Crush some mint leaves and add them to the mixture of lemon juice and honey. Add this dressing over the orange slices.
  5. Wash and arrange some fresh basil leaves over the orange slices. You could serve it immediately keep it in the refrigerator until the time you want to serve it. 

Here’s a Tip: Use a peeler to peel the Orange and slice it after that. You can also add some fresh cheese (Cottage / Fetta / Mozzarella) to the salad.
